Words of Hope

Today was a good day. First and foremost, I entered church with a friend and we came out sisters in Christ! What a big step to accept Jesus into the heart. An addition to your journey awaits, and I can't wait to hear where the Path takes you. Second, I had an amazing brunch, learned how to make soup, y quesadillas. riquisimo. And thirdly, I was inspired to blog again (thank you), as I revamp bloggernation i plan to write with esperanza. And if you're thinking I'm co-writing this blog with a beautiful Latina with long black hair, you're in for a big suprise. I will write with hope, as I document my role as a story collector. As a testament of honoring the present and finding value in it, I will capture the pulse of South Central Los Angeles using community testimonies, stories, audio, and words to inspire pride. So I may not have a pot of gold to complete my lofty dreams. For now, I have a blog, a borrowed tape recorder, and a new camera (thanks Skid Row Photography Club) So I will write with hope for esperanza!
