Isabel Allende is gangsta point blank. I love que "no tiene pelos en la lengua" Here I am thinking I'm going to a deep conversation with a legendary author, and I come out rollin like with a legendary comic. I signed up for a comedy show and didnt' even know it. My friend Fabiola treated me to such a beautiful evening. It was symbolic for me because when I was in high school I met Isabel at her house as, she was a funder for a Jamestown program. I wanted her to break out in song, and a rap, that what have been ultimate. Instead, she clowned on protestant white folk calling them "boring" and less attractive than mulattoes and blacks. LOL. YOu ain't neva lied. Needless, to say the POC's in the room where rollin or with their mouths all the way wide open. Either way, her book looks like it is going to be good. But its 29.00 which while burn a whole in my pockets. So I'm gonna wait it out. Anway, besides the comic show I also learned some history about the first and only successful slave revolt of Haiti. Thats mad sad how there has only been one. The white people were so scared they left, ran for the hills. And took everything with them. I must say this will be a new project to research. What worked? For what reasons? What can we learn in 2010.
