grad school at seattle U!

greetings my friends, after a brief pause, and gentle push from Spicy Bean, I'm at it again, blogging from the green streets of Seattle. Its been a giant transition from California, because now I call Seatown "home." California and I were in a committed relationship until Seattle put in work. And it won! Today is my third day here, I wonder what month three will look like, when the rain and cold winter comes to take me for a whirl. I wonder what my grad cohort will be like (I haven't met anyone yet) and I wonder what legacy I'll leave. I have a couple goals in mind that I'd like to share with the lucky few reading this blog:

a) travel on SU's dime. There are always countless funding sources available to students that go unused, I plan to change that, where the money at?

b) start a business- whether its tutoring, babysitting, or life coaching. I'm considering several business ventures. I'm eager to develop and follow the vision God gives me! Oh yeah, and I don't mind if I fail, because the point is to try, do and accomplish.

c) curate an photography/short film show while at SU. Movies, pictures, stories, lets go. I want to collaborate with other artist to hold a community art shows at SU.

d) self-care and love myself. Because if I don't love myself, who will? And if I continue to learn to love myself, deeply, fully and completely, I will learn to love others the same. Its God's flawless plan. Besides, this is the one thing, I have failed to do for myself, and that's no bueno.

e) commit myself to my school work. As a reminder to self, I'm here to learn. As a scholar that is one of my top priorities.

f) grow deeper in love with God. Now that I'm removed from home, the comfort, old friends, the lover, I want to use this time to grow deeper in love with my Maker.

g) have fun. because I'm young, and beautiful and I get to enjoy that with the beastie!

PS I walked my new neighborhood today, and took some shots with my new rebel T2i camera. Enjoy!

pics are of my neighborhood and the (6 bedroom) house I live in, I rent a bedroom. As you can see, Seattle is beautifully GREEN.
