all God's children

besides being a brilliant book my Fox Butterfield, all God's children is something that was a phrase i heard growing up in Christian environments and now, in theology school. but 10-year old Faith taught me one summer that "God loves us all, because He made us and we're all his children." the way Faith said that was deliberately that I believed her. now when i find myself hatin' on someone silently in my head i remember Faith's lesson and i believe it. that's the way God works often, through people. its really how we believe. God worked through Jesus so he could teach the immediate around him like his disciples and the people of Judea who were impacted by His compassion and love. when i curse the person on the street as i pass them by because they're in my way, i'm mistreating God's child. bc God made us in love, we are walking symbols of love. love is all around because all God's children are everywhere.
